The thread color does not change. Thread color is grey. 

95% polyester 5% spandex 

*please note the dark grey is only available to me up to size XL. Grey and dusty blue are available up to 4XL. 

The grey thread color will show up on grey biker shorts, just not as well as on dark grey or dusty blue.
